2008He was puking his guts out

Hi my friend,

After sleeping soundly for 6 hours last night, I was jolted awake at 4am by my 10 year-old son yelling, "Mom, I'm going to throw up!" as he flew down the hall to thebathroom.

Like most mothers, I felt terrible for my little guy. I stood by and offered a tissue to wipe his nose and a cup of water to rinse his mouth. Back off to bed.

About 10 minutes later it happened again. And then two more times.

By 5:15 am, my son was wiped out and lying there just moaning on his bed.

I didn't want to interrogate him at that moment, but I needed to see if we were dealing with an illness or if something else was going on.

So I casually asked him what he ate the day before. He told me that he had forgotten the lunch I had packed him yesterday, so the workers at his summer day camp programprovided his lunch.

When he told me what he had, things started to make sense. A terribly mis-combined meal.

Then I asked what he had for snacks. More bad mixtures on top of an already stressed stomach.

Lastly, I asked if he had anything to eat at his friend's house that he played with last night after dinner.

Yup--a little "treat" which was the absolute worst thing he could have eaten after dinner.

Put all of those things together and you have the perfect recipe for vomiting 4 times.

Now, he's lived his 10 years eating correctly combined meals and snacks and enjoyed great health because of it. But, being a typical 10 year-old boy whose biggest concernsare how many baskets he made in basketball and reading more of his Harry Potter book, I realized that keeping track of his foods probably isn't his top priority.

I gently explained to him that, although he didn't do it intentionally, what he ate made him sick.

I pointed out the horrible combinations of foods he ingested and explained why they wreaked havoc in his stomach, didn't digest properly and came back up again.

I told him that we would go over the principles I teach in Great Taste No Pain again- http://www.greattastenopain.comso he could have them fresh in his mind and would know what food choices to make when Mom's not around.

And then the best part came. He smiled and said, "Thanks, Mom. I love you." and went back to sleep.

Being as overall healthy as he is, he sprung right up at 8:30 this morning, feeling fine and ready to go to summer day camp.

You see, when you live a life of eating the right foods in the correct combinations, you maintain a strong level of health that allows you to bounce back from temporarysetbacks much easier.

But my son's story also proves an important point—and that is everyone pays the price for not eating the right way. Even my son. And if I had eaten what he ate yesterday, I'd be in agony.

Not everyone has stomach symptoms, but years of eating the wrong foods will take its toll in some way. Headaches, skin problems, back pain, allergy symptoms, depression, ADD and congestion, to name a few.

And still others don't have ANY symptoms at all...until the effects of a poor diet and being acidic accumulate over the years and then "out of the blue" comes heart disease, cancer, fibromyalgia, diabetes, obesity, arthritis, etc.

For your kids' health and your own, make now the time that you commit to eating right. Get Great Taste No Pain here and use it: - http://www.greattastenopain.com

Don't let any more sicknesses in your kids be "explained away" by a flu bug when it's very likely what they've eaten. Don't pump them full of unnecessary drugs when alltheir little bodies need is real food. Don't put them on a track for a life of sickness and obesity.

Let them see how great they feel eating real food. And just like my son, they'll smile and say, "Thanks, Mom (or Dad!). I love you."

To your health,
Sherry Brescia

PS: Deb no longer has bloating and has tons more energy:
*******************

Dear Sherry:

Here's my story. I have been taking Nexium for about 12 years and most of the time, I felt okay. A little gassy and bloated, but I thought at 61 years old, that was to be expected.

But once or twice a year I had a "break through" with heartburn so bad I thought it would burn a hole in my chest. The doctors gave me more Nexium and some other stuff to close the pyloric sphincter and some fiber pills to move things along. Absolutely no relief.

One weekend I was in so much pain, I thought I would check out the internet for diets to control this acid or put out the fire and came across your web site. Thank God for that. I can do almost anything for 4 days and if it didn't work, I would request my money back.

I would read your emails everyday and be very relieved that the crazy stuff that was happening to my body was part of the detoxification. It actually took about 6 days toget things straightened out, but it was such a relief. My bloating is gone. I can be among people in the evening again! The full blown heartburn is more like a pilot light now and gets better everyday.

I would struggle every afternoon at work, to stay awake. Now, I have no problem making it through the day. The recipes are fantastic. I love the carrot and cilantrosoup. I haven't had the time to try all of the recipes in the book, but I did make all the food in the 4 day plan. Yum.

I've messed up a couple of times, but got right back on track. It really is easy to follow and makes so much sense. One of my goals is to get rid of the hypertension meds.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

They should hide their heads in shame

Hi my friend,

Recently it was announced that two studies conducted by scientists at Harvard School of Public Health (the Nurses' Health Study and the Health Professionals' Follow-up Study)
apparently found no link between eating fruits and vegetables and cancer risk.

It didn't matter whether people ate two servings a day or 10--their risk of developing cancer over the 15-year study period appeared to be exactly the same, the "study" said.

Uh-huh.

That's like saying there's no link between hitting your thumb with a hammer and the throbbing pain you feel.

Studies like these are ridiculous because they loudly profess their "scientific conclusion" but they're more hush-hush about exactly how the study was conducted. (More on
that below.)

The processed food giants are thrilled because their billions are safe for now...they won't lose sales from people frightened into eating real food instead of their chemical non-foods.

The sad thing is, because of studies like this, people end up more confused than ever. And when there's confusion and frustration, people give up and eat whatever their tongue
is in the mood for, healthy or not, or whatever they can grab in a hurry.

And they live their lives praying they don't receive that diagnosis... the dreaded "C" word.

Back to the study.

It's shocking...

The two "studies" cited above were conducted by having the participants fill out forms recalling what they ate over the previous FOUR YEARS. That is not science. It's fantasy land.

Tell me, can you accurately remember what YOU ate and drank for every single meal and snack, every day for the last four years? Me neither.

And the fact that the Harvard School of Public Health is using such subjective, flimsy, inaccurate data to make such a significant statement about cancer and diet is downright
shameful.

They should hide their heads in embarrassment.

Plus what they failed to mention in this study (and every other similar study conducted on the face of the earth) is this: Cancer cannot exist in an alkaline environment. It
is impossible. It dies. It only thrives in an acid environment.

This is a proven fact and has been shown in labs time and again.

Know what makes you alkaline? Fruits, vegetables and other alkaline foods eaten in the right combinations. Period.

Know what makes you acid? Acid creating foods and badly combined meals.

All you need is common sense.

Don't make yourself an attractive home for cancer to thrive and it won't. Period.

Let me make it simple for you. I'll tell you exactly the foods that keep you alkaline and will keep the acid reflux and all those other stomach maladies running for the hills.
Great Taste No Pain makes it a cinch.

The hiatal hernia - acid reflux connection

Hi my friend,

One of the questions I get asked frequently is, "I have acid reflux due to a hiatal hernia. Can Great Taste No Pain help?"

My answer: Can water help put out a forest fire?

I'll explain further in a moment, but first let's talk about the hiatal hernia and acid reflux connection.

=====================================================
Here's what's going on when you have a hiatal hernia:
=====================================================

There's a wall of muscle in your abdomen called the diaphragm that looks like an open umbrella above your stomach. The diaphragm has a little hole in it and that's where your esophagus (food tube) passes through and connects to the stomach.

A hiatal hernia is when the top section of your stomach pushes up through that little hole in your diaphragm and bulges out.

Since the stomach is bulging out where it doesn't belong, the dam is weakened, so to speak. That makes it easier for undigested food and acid to leak back up into your esophagus after eating.

And voila--you get heartburn, belching, chest pain and nausea--all classic acid reflux symptoms.

Hiatal hernias occur when the muscle around that hole in your diaphragm becomes weak.

Many things can weaken the muscle--severe coughing, vomiting, pregnancy, straining (like you do when you are constipated), lifting heavy objects and most significantly, eating too much.

Yup--packing it away day in and day out literally makes your stomach burst on through your diaphragm because it's so stuffed and stretched beyond capacity.

Your stomach was designed to comfortably hold about a liter (about 4 cups) of food in a meal. So if you regularly eat more than that, you're stretching your
stomach and practically begging for a hiatal hernia.

================================
How Great Taste No Pain can help
================================

When you eat the way I teach in Great Taste No Pain, you get the benefit of all the nutrients from your food because they're not destroyed by overproduction of acid.

And when your body is nourished with nutrients, you don't feel hungry until you truly need more food. So you end up eating less, and therefore are less likely to create a hiatal hernia or aggravate an existing one.

When you eat badly combined meals, your food can sit in your stomach for 8 hours or more, while the stomach secretes acid over and over trying to digest it. As this is happening, the food isn't being digested like it should, there's a ton of excess acid in your stomach and there's nowhere for the food and acid to go except up, up, up.

And you get the three alarm acid reflux fire in your chest.

Great Taste No Pain shows you how to correctly combine your foods and eat mainly alkaline-rich foods to make digestion easy, comfortable and keep stomach acid at a minimum.

When you don't have overproduction of acid and food is digested quickly and easily like it should be, it's much less likely to come back up "over the dam" and into your throat.

Simple common sense.

So if you have acid reflux symptoms due to a hiatal hernia, don't think that somehow you're "different," or you have a "disease" or that drugs are your only answer.

Stop weakening the "dam" in your stomach; make your digestion a breeze, and your hiatal hernia (and acid reflux) symptoms will be a thing of the past.

PS: Carmen has ulcerative colitis but is no longer taking
PPIs thanks to Great Taste No Pain:

*******************
Hi Sherry:

I have been using your system for about a month and I have gotten great results, believe me.

About eight years ago I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and have been taking Prevacid, Asacol, and Gaviscon all these years. Also I was not able to eat many vegetables nor fruits because of the fiber.

My niece e-mailed me your information, so I decided right away to step in the train. Let me tell you I do not regret it. I have lost some weight, which I am very happy about, and have learned a lot about what foods to eat together. Your manual "What to Eat with What" has been very valuable.

The most exciting of all is that I am no longer taking Prevacid, Asacol or Gaviscon.

Thank you for your advice on how to be fit for life.

Unneeded procedures for acid reflux - revisited

Hi my friend,

I just finished reading a recent article in a medical journal about the untold thousands of completely unnecessary surgeries performed on people in America for digestive disorders.

It's shocking, but they really don't get it.

I'm talking about doctors who claim they don't know what causes acid reflux, think drugs and surgery are the only answers, and are willing to take out an organ that is likely very healthy just because they think it might be causing acid reflux symptoms.

Excuse me? Unnecessarily remove an organ from someone's body basically because you haven't gotten the appropriate education on what causes acid reflux?

Why not slice off their right arm while you're at it, just in case that might be the problem.

Shouldn't medical schools around the world be teaching proven-effective natural methods to their students in order to create a world of healthy people instead of padding the bill doing surgeries that only cause other problems? But hey, they're in business to make money, right?

The utter lack of common sense is shocking.

Here is a client (Eileen) who refused to become a victim of drugs and needless surgery:

*******************

Hi Sherry,

About a year ago I started getting chest pain. After about three months it got so bad I was convinced I was having heart problems even though I'm not overweight (130 lbs at 5' 8 1/2") and my blood pressure has always been slightly below normal.

I went to the emergency room and the doctors couldn't figure out what the problem was as they did every conceivable heart diagnostic test on me. Everything came back normal, so they sent me home.

The pain returned and two months later I was back in emergency. They sent me to a heart specialist - all his tests - normal. He insisted I get my gall bladder removed as he was convinced that was the problem. I told him I would consider it.

I went to a GP and he ordered a scope and said I had duodenitis caused by acid reflux. He prescribed Prevacid. When I asked him what causes acid reflux he said nobody knows. I then asked how long would I be on this drug. He said "indefinitely."

I went on the net to check out the side effects and decided not to fill the prescription. Instead I tried Zantac and Maalox. Both did absolutely nothing to
alleviate my symptoms.

I started researching, discovered your Great Taste No Pain system and ordered your cookbook and manuals. When I follow your recommendations, I experience no pain. When I "cheat" I pay the price, because like you, I'm ultra sensitive to what I eat.

I've read volumes on nutrition and holistic medicine and there is ALWAYS an alternative to drugs and surgery. It simply requires a willingness and active participation on the patient's part. Drugs are not the answer.

Thanks for providing the common sense answer to a rampant problem. I get to keep my gall bladder and spend my money on nutritious food instead of drugs!

Eileen Turner, Alberta, Canada

*******************

SB: Eileen, congratulations to you for looking for the real answer, instead of becoming another drug and surgery statistic. All the best to you.

Be like Eileen. Don't be willing to lie down and accept a sentence of needless drugs and surgery. If you have acid reflux and are told you must take drugs and there's no known cause, you need Great Taste No Pain.

Don't waste another minute. Go here now and get the real answer you need: - http://www.greattastenopain.com You'll have the manuals in your hands in just minutes from now.

To your health,

Sherry Brescia

PS: R. C.'s wife is amazed at the different Great Taste No Pain has made with her acid reflux:

Dear Sherry,

It was last Wednesday or Thursday when we received your system. I ordered it because of the problems my wife has, especially acid reflux.

She is amazed at the difference it has made. We are grateful for the plan and enthusiastically tell others about it.

"What To Eat with What" is an invaluable guide.

Thanks Sherry

The acid reflux myth

The acid reflux myth

Hi my friend,

It's a sad truth, but kajillions of people have been suffering from acid reflux and other stomach problems for so long that they think it's normal for them and thatt hey're stuck with it-- that because the pharmaceutical companies and the FDA have conspired to call it a disease, and they've got it, they're skroood.

Not.

They've lived decades or lifetimes with regular heartburn, chest pain, hoarseness, acidy burps, chronic throat clearing, sore throat, persistent cough and being unable to sleep at night and come to accept it as the way they're meant to be.

They've taken tankerloads of medicine think that's OK.

Let me make this clear--it's NOT normal for you or anyone else to be this way. I don't care who in your family has had similar problems or how long you've been suffering-- it's not the way you're meant to be.

And if you've been suffering for decades or even for days with acid reflux or other stomach ills, one thing and one thing alone is the biggest cause of your agony--What you put in your mouth.

When you eat in a way that causes overproduction of stomach acid and poor digestion of food, you get acid reflux. It's not a disease--you bring it entirely on yourself.

The medical community and big pharma want to label it a disease so they can get you dependent on drugs. But it's not. It's your body screaming that you're doing something wrong and pleading for you to change.

Listen to your body. Don't continue to abuse it day in and day out by eating the wrong foods and sending your stomach into turmoil, then taking pills to put out the flames.

Feed it the way it's supposed to be fed. The way I teachin Great Taste No Pain.- http://www.greattastenopain.com

It's just like the name says--great tasting food with no more pain. Plus it's easy and fuss-free.

Be like Wendy.

She thought she was destined to have acid reflux, IBS and gastritis for life until she found Great Taste No Pain:

*******************

Dear Sherry:

I've suffered from digestive troubles for most of my adult life but thought it was probably normal for me as most of the women in my mother's family are the same.

For may years I was treated for IBS but then I discovered that if I cut out red meat and dairy products I felt better. That kept me going for quite some time, but last year even that didn't stop me suffering from indigestion and acid reflux which had me in pain all day and kept meawake at night.

I went to my doctor who put me on PPIs (proton pump inhibitors) and sent me for various scans and ag astroscopy. Eventually I was told that I had gastritis and the treatment was to keep taking the pills.

That didn't seem like a good way to spend the rest of my life so I started doing some reading and came across Great Taste No Pain. It worked almost from meal one.

That was about a week ago and since then I've stopped taking the pills and have been totally without pain or discomfort.

This way of eating is so simple that although we've just had visitors all weekend, nobody knew that I was on any sort of "diet" even though we ate out some of the time.

Good food with no fuss and leading to no pain has to be a good thing!

Thank you very much!

PS: Below is a fantastic tasting potato salad to enjoy at your next summer barbecue. This will cause no pain IF you eat it with the correct OTHER foods. Learn which ones in Great Taste No Pain. http://www.greattastenopain.com

********************
Italian Potato Salad
********************

Serves: 3-4

1 lb. new potatoes, skins left on
1/2 cup olive oil, plus more for drizzling
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Boil potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender; drain and cool slightly.

While potatoes are cooking, combine oil, garlic and parsley; set aside.

When potatoes are cool enough to handle, cut into bite-sized chunks. Place in a large bowl and toss with oil mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Drizzle with additional olive oil if salad appears to need moisture, as certain potatoes are more "dry" than others.

Let stand at room temperature for at least 1 hour before serving.
